You can call me Benny or Bunny.
I don't care what pronoun you use for me, I've never found any of them offensive when used for me.
I have a 7-year-old daughter and I'm expecting a son in late February. This might be weird to believe, but I'm actually very childish and playful IRL, so don't feel intimidated by my writing style, it's just something that's stuck with me since school.
When it comes to MMD I don't like how people bash the community because it's been so valuable to my life (as lame as that might sound.)
I started using MMD in 2009 - the year after my daughter was born. I was in a bad relationship for most of my mid-teen years and having my daughter gave me strength to get out of that situation, but my ex was making my life really difficult and things were tough - it was the darkest time of my life, MMD was a creative escape and helped me cope with life.
After I moved and life calmed down I continued to use MMD because I enjoyed it. The MMDC is the first and only online community I've really been a part of, and that means a lot to me.
I think my history with MMD explains why I really like the idea of this forum. For me, MMD and the MMDC are positive parts of my life. I feel as though people that say "I refuse to be part of the MMDC" and "MMDC is horrible" are blind to the fact that every community has good and bad points and they are overlooking the good things of the MMDC.
I try to be a positive part of the community by sharing with other MMDers for free what I know about model editing and what I create from scratch (especially because when I first started, there were NO tutorials, and there were only a few models you could edit.)
I would like to think that this could encourage other creators to have a similar mindset and help the community become an environment where people enjoy being helpful and positive with each other.
Thanks for reading!
